Based on my own experience: I’m glad to recommend Vintage Academy for everyone interested. We did intense work during the course. We got lots of inspiration together with the theoretical and practical knowledge, we worked in an intimate atmosphere where our trainers shared also their own experiences with us.

One of my goals for 2019 was to take a train-the-trainer course. I was looking for a school where the training is practice-oriented, because I think this is very important in this profession. I was given a convincing foretaste about this at the open house. It was not only an evening programme where we played some games, but where we could also learn about the background of each game. We got to know why exactly that game has to be played and why in exactly that way. I felt this would be the place where I could receive real value.
We had several trainers throughout the course, which gave a brilliant insight into the different trainer types, how they can make the training enjoyable and useful in different ways and how each training can be exciting and effective.
The training material – that we received both electronically and in printed form nicely organised – is abundant in knowledge and practical tips that made us capable of creating an interactive presentation just after 4 days in the course, and from the 6th training session we had all the tools in our hands to deliver full training sessions. And this is not all. We also had opportunities to deliver these training sessions with support – and this is a rare feature. It was very important for me that after these mock training opportunities we immediately received feedback both from the team and from the trainers, so I was able to directly respond and take notes on how I can make my presentation better and more effective.
It was interesting when my friends invited me to come along and I refused saying I’m in school, their first reaction was: “Oh, poor thing, it’s a shame. Hang in there.” My answer was: “I don’t feel bad at all, I’m excited and looking forward to being there!”
I felt sad when these special Sundays ended. I had several weeks during the course when these Sundays were the best part of the week.
Vintage Academy is a place where I was always happy to go, and I absolutely got what I had expected at the beginning, and even much more!

The train-the-trainer course helped me in redesigning my career. After working in the field of economy I wanted to do something different. I wanted to help people become more balanced. I didn’t know how at that time.
I joined the Vintage Academy train-the-trainer course with Erika, where every Sunday they waited for me fully prepared. They made us a great team very soon. I returned home in high spirits after each session and learnt a lot. We received a lot of written information, which helps a lot since the end of the course too. It’s useful to have something at your hands to go back to. We proceeded through a well-structured and logically built learning material, we tried every task and exercise. We had fun while developing.
Finally I was convinced about the career as a trainer by the experience I gained here on how the given tasks or games can help people. I have first-hand experience on how I can help with them in my own trainings.

Erika and her team were recommended by a kind acquaintance when I asked for advice on which school was worth joining for a train-the-trainer course. I had a lot of uncertainties, I wanted to change jobs, modify my career, I was attracted by the training profession and coaching, but I didn’t know which I should start with, where I should head, I was trying to find my path. Erika reacted to my first inquiry and gave me a lot of help in making a decision. Finally, I enrolled in the train-the-trainer course, and I’ve never regretted it! We had a fantastic group, the atmosphere was very inspiring, we learnt a lot from Erika, Ani and Zsuzsa, the whole experience was exciting. We acquired effective training methodology and in the meantime we discovered some great truths on the way. We got not only professional knowledge, but also a better understanding of ourselves. Those few weeks formed a watershed in my life, because when I took my exams I was waiting for the response to my application for an internal training position at a company I liked. I mentioned at the job interview that I got my trainer certificate at Vintage Academy and the reactions were very appreciative. I remember I was very proud that they knew the name of the school 🙂 The company’s response was positive, so I’ve been working as an internal trainer for over half a year now. In the first period of my new career – and since then as well – I made good use of everything I learnt from Erika and her team at the train-the-trainer, and later at the master trainer courses. We were taught how to build a training around a given topic, how to “break ice”, how, with what tools to prepare, how to manage the different types of participants… And of course how not to be afraid of being myself – because this is the most important thing 🙂 I’m grateful for all this, and also for the answers I immediately received ever since, whenever I had a question or needed help. They didn’t let our hand go, we’re like a big family. I wish this family would get bigger and bigger, as Erika would put it: many little swallows… 🙂

We met at Vintage Academy and during the training sessions we not only got closer together, but also provided professional support for each other.
In one of the breaks we had a chat in the kitchen and we realised how much an environment that supports mothers would be needed. We found we have very similar thoughts and goals. We were happy to have a common experience at the train-the-trainer course, we made development together and also discussed what we learnt.
We both felt that we received not only a vast array of “ammunition”, but also inspiration. As soon as we passed our exams, we almost immediately founded our common business, StarMind, that reflects our mentality.
Besides the questions of motherhood, we tackle a numerous other issues and topics that engage us, like female roles, social relationships, career and life dilemmas.
Along with the common goal, the knowledge we acquired during the course underpins our activities. The exercises, games, syllabuses and trainer’s instructions help a lot, and we complement each other in every aspect of work processes.
We’re glad to recommend the train-the-trainer course of Vintage Academy for everyone who has a message to convey to people, who would like to be a representative of a passionate and knowledge-centred profession.

For me the training gave a huge opportunity, now in the middle of my life, and fun Sundays.
It gave me the company of very kind and cooperative people.
We got to know different trainer styles through our 3 credible and wonderful trainer-coaches who delivered the training.
Why was the training worth doing?
The programme helped develop my personality, I received a lot of new information, knowledge with practical materials and ppts, ready-made training materials, lots of explanations and helpful mentors who always focused on our development. I’m truly grateful for this.
What was your best experience?
The presentations that we delivered ourselves right from the beginning of the course, and the honest feedback we received.
We were given “musical notes” but we were the ones to compose “our own song” with them. It was a great experience!
Thanks to the highly qualified trainer-coaches I could experience that although I’m dynamite, I need someone to ignite me.

I fell in love with the Academy right at the open house. It took me 5 minutes to decide that I came to the best possible place if I want to learn, gain experience. This feeling became even stronger during the course, and, instead of wanting to finish as soon as possible, I wanted the training to last longer. Erika and Zsuzsa are amazing, very experienced and professional presenters, they led us all through the course in a credible, interesting and entertaining way. I acquired useful and easily applicable knowledge paired with a lot of practical elements, but the most important for me was that I regained my confidence, that I believed had been lost.
